William Jepsen: Deflation hitting home? Many billions of dollars are being lost in equity and financial markets in S.E. Asia which can't help but have negative influence here at home as well. Can the Feds inflate as quick as the money is disappearing? That is the question. Also, your post mentions the low price of crude oil. Oil is the single most important commodity, and how it goes determines the outcome of the debate regarding inflation/deflation and perhaps even the POG.
