I have always believed in trade schools. But only if done concurrent with a general liberal arts education. yep, I agree. I also believe online learning is a great tool, but also concurrent with a liberal arts education, and I think they are particularly helpful with continuing education. I recently discovered that at the University of Washington, if you are over 60 years old and there is room in the class, anyone can take any class at the UW for a nominal fee ($10-$25). I'm still working full time, so I haven't been able to pursue this, but I plan to down the road.
