Duke and Larry, although I can't guarantee a 49'ers win over Green Bay, I can guarantee this "ASND will beat First Call's EPS consensus estimate of $0.22/shr". If Mory and Mike failed to convince you, I blasphemously tried. No suprise this time ! In fact, I already work on my own estimate for 2Q98 to see how hard or easily ASND will make it.
If the 56 K std is approved and the licensing issue are hammered out quickly according to plan, it will unleash a bunch of TNT orders in 2Q98. The new super high-density TNT with voice module and 56 K modemm std, if delivered on time and defect free, will render the visibility question moot given that the WAN core switching biz unit (CSCC) is doing extremely well. Larry, we need to compare note on the football strategy sometimes such as what are the scripted first 20 offensive plays of 49'ers and Green Bay.

I agree with Bernstein that the only thing stands in the way of an onslaught of upgrades is the RAS biz.

If all fails to convince you, I have not sold a single share of ASND since I bought it in early Oct 97 at $32 1/4 average for I do put my money where my mouth is.

KNOCK...KNOCK...KNOCK....)))) Tim, are you home? Holidays were over longtime man! get back to work, I need some of you "crazy" opinions for CS (you still have it?), KLIC and ATML.

Btw, we have a big wave and "killer" bikini beach goers here in Hawaii.

Duke.

Duke,

Thanks for your post. I agree with you that bargains exist. ASND certainly seems like one such play to me. It's switching strength appears to be impressive. I've also just taken a position in PAIR because it has been beaten down tremendously since October, yet has no Asian exposure and is in a growth area, xDSL (albeit, growth down the road). If I had the resources, I'd look to add to INTC, for it has a ton of cash, an enormous market and, yet, an amazingly small p.e.

Hope Monday is better.
