CRA was passed in '77. Had nothing to do with the GFC in '08. Greed had everything to do with it. The GFC came about because derivatives on iffy loans went out of control. Banks were leveraged to the hilt and couldn't pass any stress test. Dodd Frank act fixes this... But the GOP wants to do away with it. It's a good thing you didn't blame minorities and brown people on it, like your other colleagues have. You guys never learn the lessons from history, such as the Stock Market Crash of '29 that caused the Great Depression.
