While the Hiroshima bombing could by some means be justified, until this date, I have never seen any truly credible arguments justifying the Nagasaki follow-up plutonium bombing.
Coulda shoulda woulda.

Perhaps Hiroshima alone would have been enough to make Japan surrender. But they obviously didn't, at least not fast enough to prevent Nagasaki.
