Isn't the crossing of the 50 dma mitigated by the general market's taking all valuations down? Afterall, today's CSCO performance was twice as good as NASDAQ's, and could be viewed as a strong positive. Not so? Tulvio

<< craig, you getting a sell signal like I am? >>

Well I have to say, a 52 point drop in the Naz on heavy volume sure looks like a sell signal to me!

In all serious I'm pretty disgusted with C$CO. It acted strong today. Out of all my shorts (I'm 100% short) C$CO is the only one I don't have profits on. I'm still down 1/2 point. I've even had better luck shorting the interent stocks. COMS looks much weaker to me, I think I will stick with shorting that one.

Hopefully monday will bring in some follow through selling and I can look to get out of this short.

Sell signal??? Wouldn't it be the other way around. Last week when the NAZ is moving up strongly should be the sell signals. Now, when it is 52 points down, these should be looked at as buy signals, no??? Unless, the overall market will drop drastically the coming weeks, these drops down should be great for people with money on the sidelines. I don't know, it seems that after the fact, it really doesn't seem to matter. Up/down, nobody knows. Whenever, any of my stocks go up strongly or down, I tend to scrutinze them a little closer and decide if it is worth continuing to hold on to.
