I praised countries that experimented with a pure democracy such as Greece. They also had cool tools to keep things from going nuts. For example, if someone led the country in the wrong direction (away from their constitution) they could be fined, imprisoned or put to death. Using that system today would have great rewards. We wouldn't have one republican left in the country.
