Bonefish, Lauer is fired...while Al Franken...stays...what's wrong with this picture? The firing of Lauer was a complete surprise. He never struck me as the misogynist type. Even his spat with Ann Curry, which people are now reviving in the wake of Lauer's exit, didn't seem like anything else other than two coworkers who can't get along. As for Al Franken, he never denied that he groped women. All he did was "apologize." He (and Conyers for that matter) are staying on because the Democrats on Capitol Hill are complete imbeciles and don't realize how toxic these two guys are. Tenchusatsu
