Shifting to an adjacent topic where the Resistance has been in my opinion wrong is the issue around immigration. The fact is that the US is experiencing far less murder and deaths from Islamic terrorism than in Europe, precisely because it is far harder for Muslims from war torn countries to get into the US. That is a very unpopular statement in today's politically charge and politically correct world, but it is a fact. Now, what is interesting is that Obama did many of the same things Trump is trying to do with respect to limiting dangerous Islamic would-be terrorists from entering the country. But Obama was a master communicator, so he had most everyone in the government backing his immigration moves. But Obama came across to many Americans as too soft on Muslims, which is why Trump was able to use it as a wedge issue.
