I agree with you completely. Evangelists have always seemed to me like they are over the top high and mighty, because they have skeletons in their closet. The kowtowing of the GOP to Evangelicals is the classic case to me of Church and State commingling that our Founding Fathers warned against. The fact that Alabamans will support Moore, even when you have some pretty convincing proof of his degeneracy, albeit allegations at this point, is pretty amazing to me. It is the kind of ethical lapse that is exactly what I've point out about some of the liberals on this thread wrt Bill Clinton, Franken, Conyers, and others. I don't get why people are so darned ideological about this. The one thing we should all be agreeing about across party lines is these degenerates need to step down and some need to actually be prosecuted for crimes.
