I wasn't referring to the tribes themselves, but to people looking down their noses at "tainted" blood. Why is someone "black" when they are way less than 50% black? Why isn't someone of mixed African and European descent called white if they are > 50% European? After all, their African blood has been tainted by more than 50% white in that case, so surely they must be "white"? Its been longstanding in the USA, and originally from the Southern racists, that if your fingernails were a smidgen black, you were black and could sit at the back of the bus. Now the same people don't seem to like that strategy applied to NA in the case of Warren.
