It is quite remarkable that with all the problems in Asia-- moratoriums, etc., that the Asian economies have not resorted to the only real currency, i.e., gold. Which raises the possibility that perhaps European and/or US CB's, or others, have been manipulating gold via paper derivatives to prevent the possibility of $US dollars being passed over in favor of gold investment.
