Weekly chart of XOI index. Looks like we may have hit bottom if...there was some support a year back. We're pretty much there in the OSX, too. investools.com 90 is support(is there such a thing?) 85 is the next stop if we don't turn around monday(gulp) next stop down from here is 63 for SLB investools.com Dave

An official at the Japan National Oil Co, a semigovernmental corporation which has extensive oil development projects in Indonesia, said the current turmoil in Indonesia would not have a direct impact on it. ''The Japanese bankers who lent money to Indonesia might be hurting, but not us,'' the oil company official said. biz.yahoo.com It must mean that the JNOC is funding its own operations in Indonesia and is not dependent on the local economy except, perhaps, for labor (which would be a plus for them). But what impact, if any, has this news on spot oil, oil drillers, etc.? Tulvio
