We liberals would vote for higher taxes to provide social services for everyone. But then we have a conscience and believe that a healthy society is in the best interest of everyone.

Denmark has the highest taxes in the world and is considered the happiest country on earth.

In the 50's we had high taxes on the rich and it was Ozzie and Harriet time.

But people who lack empathy or understanding of what makes for a peaceful and prosperous country vote for guys like Trump and Republicans.

It is impossible to have an intelligent discussion about what makes for a healthy society wwith people who don't have compassion.

The locks are to protect themselves form folks like Trumpsters, not Muslims.

Yes...lovely, we have that here in Denver.... but the home owners have front doors with locks and fences. In many cases empty bedrooms. If the Dems would open their homes to the homeless, take out second mortgages in order to feed them, provide medical, free college etc. no questions asked... The world would be a better place... but really the signs are self serving made to feel good....
