Like english language being chosen as lingua franca due to network effect there's only 1 lingua franca needed in money. Unless there is some advantage in a smaller one, the bigger the better. One of the advantages of english is that it adopts words such as lingua franca, sushi, restaurant, cafe, karaoke. Swarms of block chains have been started in a gold rush but they are all fools gold including bitcoin. Block chains are too inefficient to be money. Mqurice
