Reportedly, she wanted to bring 500K a year in, multiplying by tenfold what Obama did. I think that is just silly. Thank God Trump put a stop to that. The Europeans have done that and they are reaping the whirlwind. I agree we need to continue to be a tolerant country and don't paint all Muslims with the evil brush. But we shouldn't and don't have to let all Muslims into this country. We are unique in that we have a defensible land mass with oceans on either side of us, peaceful Canadians to the North, and relatively peaceful Mexicans (except for drug wars) to the South. We can and should defend our borders and screen who comes in. We do NOT need to be so soft hearted as to let masses of Muslims into our country. What we need to do is simply put a pause on Muslim immigration for a long while, even as we disengage as much as possible from the Middle East. There is no reason any more, since we don't need their oil, for us to be over there like a bull in a china shop destroying everything and then wondering why they hate us. It's far better for us to just leave, mind our own business, and restrict entry into our country to Muslims until they evolve. Let the Europeans figure out a way to assimilate, modernize, and evolve the Muslims.
