I cannot imagine anyone taking it seriously. But there is so much absurdity floating around these days one never knows. We actually have so called psychiatrists diagnosing the president with various mental illness based upon network news "panels" commentary. It is almost funny. I'm starting to understand the rationale of "one less" that Trump is just manipulating these fools.

We do have pockets of lefty airheads, but that beats hell out of the comprehensive right wing that supports Trump and the treasonous Republicans.

And it would be an outliar of lefty airheads to support Sharia law which abuses women! I think the rest of the lefty's in the pocket would bring them to task.

Just compare the main Democratic nominees versus the main Republican nominees for president. Not one of those Republican clowns would get to first base in a dem primary.

So there should be no worries about it by the right wing.

There's always the chance that pockets of lefty airheads will ignorantly misinterpret Sharia as freedom of religion and cater locally to the theocrats just as some lefty airheads mindlessly devalue freedom of speech that is unpleasant. The right wing can always count on finding some lefty loonies to arouse the vast outrage machine. But I don't see Sharia in the US as any more than talk-radio fodder.
