He's way too short for an NFL QB (listed at 6'1", and I suspect that's very inflated). At absolute best, he's another Doug Flutie (which isn't a bad thing), but he's more than likely going to be yet another brilliant college QB that's so-so in the NFL. I really don't care much for any of the touted college QBs this year. I've seen Jake Browning (Washington), Sam Darnold (USC), Josh Rosen (UCLA) and Luke Falk (Washington State). Falk is likely the best of those, and he's not even touted as third best in the PAC-12. Otherwise, Lamar Jackson (Louisville) looks to be like another version of RGIII, Trace McSorley (Penn State) benefits greatly from Saquon Barkley's presence in the backfield, Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State) looks like maybe, just maybe, a steal in the late first round or early second round. If you want take a shot, try Logan Woodside (Toledo). He's 6'2" and sort of, for lack of a better word, green, and he's got some injury history, but I like his chances a lot, more so if he's platooned behind a good NFL QB for a year or two. As for the Browns, they likely go with Saquon Barkley, whom they've undoubtedly watched closely for the past two years. Other QBs in the running include Malik Rosier (Miami Hurricanes), Josh Allen (Wyoming) (injury risks), Drew Lock (Missouri), Clayton Thorson (Northwestern), Deandre Francois (Florida State), Jarrett Stidham (Auburn), Will Grier (West Virginia), Daniel Jones (Duke), Riley Ferguson (Memphis), Kurt Benkert (Virginia), Nick Fitzgerald (Mississippi State) and Chase Litton (Marshall). There are other eligible QBs as well, but all of them are likely 5th or 6th round picks, maybe even free agent signings. EK!!!
