The payoff would be to take the focus off of the obstruction of justice and related Russian malfeasance.

I see none. But the Dems are insisting on going after Trump to get him impeached. The GOP did it with Clinton. So I'm merely pointing out that if the Dems want to go after Trump, then why don't they be smarter about it. The Russia gate thing will accomplish nothing in the end, because Trump committed no crimes in reaching out to Russia as President-Elect. However, maybe he did commit impeachable offenses from his sexual predator activities that he so openly admits to. Trump sickens me as a President. I think we deserve better as Americans, but I do like some of the economic policies he is implementing and I still hope he and Congress can roll back Obamacare in its entirety and get us back to where we were before then, which was a stable health care system that worked for the majority of Americans. So I'd like to see him finish that job. Plus, I agree 100% with his Muslim bans, as do the majority of Americans, whether they like to admit it publicly or not.
