I think the graph you posted did a very nice job of making my point. What happened in the "all other industries" category? Please factor in population growth as well.

The issue in healthcare is that so far it is largely a protected industry because of State licensing requirements. That is why IBM and others always state that their products are meant to assist physicians, not replace them. That will remain true until some years past where the AI is doing essentially all the work. At which point healthcare organizations will ask themselves why they are paying $300K to that Radiologist when IBM's Watson is doing all the work.

At that point the healthcare employment curve starts looking like the "all other industries" curve.
