>>We are already at that point, its just the systems cannot be legally deployed.<<

That's true here, but probably won't be elsewhere. Watch for medical costs to drop drastically where it can.

<<<<< any young person consider a career in say trucking or driving a taxi>>>>

You keep throwing out jobs you think will go away without every appreciating the jobs that the new technology will provide. There are no longer jobs for street sweepers that use to shovel horse shit either - would I argue those would be jobs worth maintaining a hundred years ago? OF COURSE NOT!! Our differences are clearcut. You think many jobs will disappear and apparently no new jobs will replace them and so we will have mass unemployment. I believe in science and technolgy that will provide a myriad potential for new jobs we can't even imagine today.

You kept talking healthcare - radiology specifically. But health care has mushroomed like very few job opportunities in the past. Our new biotech industry has virtually exploded and those are very VERY good jobs. The genomic revolution is providing opportunities today we couldn't have even imagined in our wildest imagination a couple of decades ago. That revolution is in its infancy. Where it goes is any ones guess but the jobs provided in that revolution will be massive - and so will the automation. It's a good partnership and offers huge rewards for mankind. Can Trump fuck this up for America? You bet!!
