You wonder what the move would have been on Friday if the overall markets had behaved. Its funny but again STF started out on the same basis (proportionately with BEA) and then died out with the market downturn but BEA kept its gains. My biggest fear is that there will be a significant discovery at a time when the market just doesn't care because of Asia etc. Unless there is a dramatic change in the sentiment, our timing may be very poor. I have been hoping that someone would bite on some of the incredibly cheap large cap mining companies and that type of action might jolt the market back into reality in terms of focusing on asset value. For example, if Vosey Bay is real, Inco at book value is very cheap and with our dollar so low, I keep expecting some foreign money (or Falconbridge) to take a run at it. Sorry to ramble but while this play is for the most part self contained, the reaction to it will be very dependent on overall market mood, I had hoped for a little better performance this week so I am somewhat disappointed but I guess there is always next week.
