Things to be on the alert for : 1. Any hint of how the cores LOOK! 2. Moves towards putting Epic and Safari together (makes it easier to do a deal with a Major). 3. Stronger bids after a week or two. The news release looks to me like it is designed NOT to spike the market, and I interpret that as positive. Prior to my finding this play, there was apparently a tendency to "promote" and it seems the news releases now are quite factual or perhaps even underplay the situation. This is a plus as it adds credibility. I continue to believe that the addition of Ken Sinclair to the team was the KEY move to making this work because now you have an expert specifically in the technology of coal bed methane production running the show full time. This means mistakes will be far less likely and success far more likely. I agree with Vargas that the general market is headed into the tank. This may have implications for this play as well although if they hit, a good run should easily go against even a collapsing general market for awhile. It would mean a lower high and a larger pullback however. The Turkey play remains a potential second bonanza for this company which is usually left out of the discussion but should not be. It could be just as big or even bigger when all is said and done. It just is not as imminant. Oil fields on that trend are just monsters and huge fortunes have flowed from there. Turkey is not a bad place to invest and as far as I have heard they are not suffering from the Asian Flu. We should finally have some real information to digest very shortly.
