I also replaced Navigator with Communicator a few weeks ago. Just move your bookmark file from the old Netscape directory to the new directory and you will be able to access your old bookmarks.

Great!!! I really like it. Thanks for giving me a heads up that they make a 3.1 version. I didn't realize that.

And while I don't know how IE files those URLs with its "favorite places" format, you should be able to go into the folder containing that file and then copy and past the URLs to your Netscape bookmark file.

Give it a try and let me know if it works out. I fully understand how much of a pain it can be to lose your closely coveted set of bookmarks.

A second alternative is for you to open both IE and Communicator and then start going through your URLs one by one with IE and then copy/pasting those URL in Communicator and creating a new bookmark file. Slow and tedious but provides an alternative to just starting completely over from scratch.

Good luck!!

Regards,

Ron
