I do think we may have some retracement back toward the 200 day MVA

As expected, we are getting a bit of a bounce today, from a combination of being oversold and from last night's reiteration of fake news. Technically, the stock remains well below its 200 day MVA. Many stock in this condition will recover to the 200 day MVA, currently around 86, from which the stock would turn downward again.

The stock remains in a no-buy zone, and even the signing of a long term supply agreement may not be enough to return the stock to buy territory. Within any current negotiations, Toshiba is negotiating from a position of strength, while Western Digital is negotiating from a position of weakness. This balance of power is unlikely to produce a result in the best interests of Western Digital or shareholders.

Importantly, we are seeing a pattern of declining daily volume. There is little buying interest in the stock, even at these levels, and any additional selling will push the stock into its next leg down.
