Well, then don't buy yet. If you aren't aware, they still do not have a supply agreement past 2020. I cannot recommend you buy any shares until they have a signed agreement. Just. Don't.

Public statements are merely posturing tools. It is quite possible that both sides will reach a middle ground whereby Toshiba guarantees stronger IP protection from Hynix and protects against Bain reselling to a competitor at a later point. If Toshiba makes these adjustments I would suspect that WD would drop their legal challenge and Toshiba will resume allowing investment in Fab 6.
