Loren, I am not the best person to answer your question, but here it goes. Indicators that show volume are good for measuring the strength of a move. Three indicators that are similar are the On Balance Volume(OBV), the Williams Advanced/Decline index, and the Price Volume Trend. OBV was the original and the other two are attemps at improving the OBV. Richard likes the PVT and Bill Sandusky likes the Williams. Chandler is playing with a MACD(21,34) of the Williams which I call the Williams Advance Decline Oscillator (WADO). Bill also likes the Chalkin Oscillator to be turning up from below zero for a buy. Me, I am still trying to find out witch end of the chart is up.<ggg>
