There is a party that spent decades promising to balance the budget? They didn't do it once. In fact, their presidents all created the highest deficits (at the time) in US history and they all left office with deficits far higher than when they took the oath of office. And this is their issue. Decades of failure is not something that can be defended so they need talk radio and fox to convince you that we're as bad as you are. We're not. We can govern. We're not evil. We've worked with Democrat and republican presidents. Your party couldn't work with a black president because he was black (or your party is batcrap crazy). We raised taxes and balanced the budget under Clinton. We created a path to paying down all the debt and then tax cutters cut taxes and exploded the debt again.
