No, we have the North Korea mess, because Obama never did like to tackle the hardest problems. With Iran, he created a sham deal that didn't solve the problem, but gave the appearance that he did. With North Korea, he completely ignored the problem. With Jerusalem, every President since the mid-90s has waived the move. Why? Because they made the correct assessment that moving our embassy would ratify Israel's assertion that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, which would immediately inflame all Muslims against us, with no discernible benefits to the US in the Middle East. In every diplomatic move, we should be looking to gain something. Trump just gave away a HUGE bargaining chip and we gained nothing. Israel was going to be our ally no matter what we did. We are Israel's lifeline in the ME. We should not have made the Jerusalem move right now. It gains us nothing, but it sure as hell just made Americans an even bigger target all over the world by Muslims who now believe the Holy War to end all Holy Wars has just begun. We took at clear side in a war that is NOT ours. How many more trillions that we can't afford are we going to spend on fighting Muslims with ZERO to gain from it?

If I was President, my policies with Muslims and the ME would be completely different. I'd pull out. We have no business over there. We don't need their oil anymore. We have our own and what we can't power with oil and NG, we can build with renewables. We don't need to be at war with Islam over there. We don't need them at all. After all the only thing Muslims from the ME produce is terrorism. We don't need them. So why engage at all? Let's face it. Peace in the ME is dead and has been for my entire life. We're far better off closing our border to ME Muslims and pulling all of our troops out of those cursed lands. No engagement whatsoever is the best policy. Let them spew their hatred at each other and fight their stupid tribal wars until they kill each other off. Why do we need to perpetually put ourselves in the middle of it all? It makes no sense, because we have nothing to gain and a hell of a lot to lose.
