Yes - but AMAT may not have hit bottom, depending on the
outcome of the conference call, additional fab delays or
cancellations and SEA. If you have nerves of steel and
2-3 years, a double is very likely. The trick is to
recognize the top and get out near it. Study a 5 -10 year
chart of AMAT. Better yet, post it by your bathroom mirror.

I've been very wrong last summer, so my advice is worth
about 1 ringitt.<G> But if you continue to read this
thread, you'll get more qualified opinions than mine.

scenerios..... p/e of 6 was low for 1996 If earnings look to be tanking, then it will get nasty....but this is what makes for good opportunity and I think AMAT is oversold.
