The debt nearly tripled under Reagan and doubled under Bush. If you had a problem with spending I'm guessing you ignored their spending. The war in Iraq (which was a war of choice based on lies) cost $5000 per second. How did republican pay for their war? They didn't. You and I both know there hasn't been a responsible republican in government in our lifetimes. Anyone can cut taxes. Anyone can spend money we don't have but only Democrats balanced the budget under Clinton. As soon as Clinton was gone so were the balanced budgets. You'll have your excuses, People like you always do but if you had success you wouldn't need excuses.
