Narotham,

Another thing--on Louis Ruykeyser's show, Abby Joseph Cohen of Goldman Sachs mentioned Y2K problem leading me to believe that Y2K sector is going to be "THE" hot sector. Saw the mention at TPRO's thread. I'm long on both TPRO and SYNT. Maybe I should get more Y2K companies into my portfolio. Additionally, one of the guys on CNBC mentioned that maybe the stocks are tanking secondary to concerns about the costs of correcting the millenium bug problem and its' effects on the bottom line of many companies.

Seems there's almost daily coverage of this problem in the media. Can't help but believe that investors will flock to these companies for protection from all the other disastrous areas in the market. I mean, good gosh, stocks are losing 30-50% on a slight drop in earnings from the (guess)estimated amount. There just haven't been any warm and fuzzy feeling in the market latter. Disappoint the investors (or rather, the momentum traders) and the hammer comes down and with the force of a Mack truck behind it at that.
Good luck.

Mike
