So far, so good -- if we can make it through tomorrow, we'll be fine... cars still packed, go bags still at front door... I'll probably stay up into the weeee hours again as the Santa Ana winds pick up again and the humidity plunged to 4%! 2nd time in 3 days -- I'd never seen 4% humidity before after decades of camping/hiking in the desert, include Death Valley... very strange... also strange, the Santa Ana winds usually mean 90s-100°, but this time highs (except near the fires) didn't go above 73 here... but with 80 mph winds and single digit humidity, fire don't care what the air temp is... staying up real late like tonight should give me lots of time to mull over my picks and toss a coin dozens and dozens of times for each tough pick... which means I'll get them all wrong of course... <ggg>
