Quick story: I was in a Macy's today and watched a woman complain to cashiers that cashiers weren't allowed to say "Merry Christmas." 1/2

Cashiers looked at her blankly & told her, yes, they could say "Merry Christmas." Then the woman turned to another person & repeated it 2/2

For what it's worth, I told her "they just said they could say it." But I was ignored. The whole thing was not surprising yet baffling.

Trump in FL and MS campaigning for Moore, but not in AL. And no personal meeting with Moore.

What's going on?

Trump doesn't know if Moore will win. If he wins, he'll take credit. But if Moore loses, he'll say he, Trump, didn't really lose because he didn't venture into AL and be seen with Moore. So he's endorsing but at arms length.
