I think the last time NYCers were panicked was when King Kong was in town.

True.

Except back then it was mostly the tourists that panicked, not so much the Yawkers.

Now want to piss off a New Yawker?

While walking down the busy street, stop suddenly to stand around and gawk and point at the tall buildings.

Extra points if you do it in a group and block the entire sidewalk.
