Dennis, I have no idea what happened to Dennis 2. Maybe the market got him.

I would not worry about this article. That's what SI is here for. I think this is meant for people who hype a stock and sell all along. Isn't that what some of those brokers have been fined for? Look, we can discuss here all we want. As far as articles are concerned, we have to put the links on, not the article itself. We have known this for some time. Any time you like a stock you go ahead and put it on. This gives us a chance to check it out too. None of us has the time to research all stocks. When you pool the work, half the battle is won. gg.
I have been saying that I still like the drillers. I think I like them even better now. gg. But I will not get into them until I feel they hit bottom. First they were touted and now they are being trashed. I don't quite understand it. I have been researching them pretty good. Oil is down but those things have a longer life cycle. They just started coming out in the last year and those cycles run for years. I am determined to make some money on them but I will wait a while longer. That darn sentiment is down on them. I had put on a long time ago that I sold my GLM in the 30s and I am waiting to get back in. Ok, now you have me saying it too. I am not hyping those stocks. I am not in yet and when I take the plunge I will put it on. With my luck lately I will wait too long when the time comes.

About Apple. Longterm. I don't know. They did make a profit but I think I read that it was because of costcutting or something like that and not because of increasing sales. What made you go in for the long haul? I was going to go in because I heard takeover talk again and there was all this hoopla with Mac World coming up and I thought it would be worth several points. IBM was in trouble at one time and it came back.

But what do I know. Look at CPQ. I can't believe where that stock is trading. All the techs got creamed on Friday.

Amat. I do believe that will be a money maker. I got out at 97 and I have been watching it. My stocks have all been going into the wrong direction lately so I am in no hurry to buy. I need all the nerves I can muster in order not to sell. gg. But I do believe things will get better. Maybe via worse. Not if I had something to say about it.
