TopCat, there are valid arguments for and against the move.

I do agree with Mindmeld that we don't gain anything from that move. It further entangles us in a conflict that frankly we shouldn't be involved in at all.

(I mean, think about it. Why should we care where Israel's capital is? Jerusalem? Tel Aviv? Heck, I personally think the capital of Israel should be Haifa. Why? Because I know people who live there. Yeah, that's the ticket.)

But just because I think the move borders on recklessness doesn't mean I think the 25th amendment should be twisted into a tool for a coup d'etat. Like I said, that sword cuts both ways.

The Democrats should have learned that every tool they used to gain power can and will be turned around against them in the future. So should those on this thread who think the Constitution should be interpreted "liberally."
