Nadine - On the other hand, the fourth quarter is technology's strongest, and look what happened! I keep hearing these 'gurus' talk about the 'summer slowdown' in tech, and the '4th quarter pop'. Well, last year we had a pop in tech over the summer and the 4th quarter had a collapse. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Nadine Carroll. Re: " But remember Q1 is usually technology's weakest quarter (remember last year?) I'm preprared for nothing much to happen until May..."

Do you remember that last year we went into January with very high prices in hi-tech. Then things dropped. It's much different this year with INTC and CPQ down 30% from their highs.

You're right Nadine, except forget about the word usually, like usually we get a January effect on the upside. All bets are off with this S.E. Asian mess. Usually doesn't count anymore. The tech sector is going to burst if held back too much longer!
