morning Scott, nice thread on GMTC!! FWIW: I just moved to the Phoenix area,Tempe is about 1/2 houre fron me, and and i must say that the technological prospects in this area are outstanding!!!(IMHO)
Maricopa county had the third most jobs created in the nation 1997.
In other words the company is in a prime booming market which should give them the opportunity to tap the resources of this economy if they need too!granted that this wont make a company but i don't think it could hurt!!

As far as mondays hopefull recovery, do you think that people will have a negitive reaction to the news concerning the delay of the bingo opperations?if they do i think that this would present another buying opportunity!!

Instock, i'm curious, i live in AZ and indian gaming is
a huge business here. Every tribe that could has signed
contracts with the state and are making millions of
dollars.
They are all building more casinos, bigger and fancier
and some of them are now teaming up with larger casinos
from Vegas and Laughlin.
Has this company tried to get into the market here? Bingo
is one of the games allowed here, slots and toned down card
games are other types.
Where i live in Northern AZ, the Apaches opened up a Casino
here, the tribe has 100 or so members and are buying land,
and building at an incredible rate.
I think the stock was hammered also, if these folks were
involved with some of the tribes here, being they are from
Tempe, i would look at this as a good long term hold.

In:

I'm having trouble charting this stock. Did it go public just a month or two ago.
One point:
"GMTC cannot be Short Sold at the current price." This is very much not true. GMTC (or any sub-$5 stock, plus several plus-$5 stocks) cannot be shorted by the public. However, market-makers, the people who probably hold a great deal of the stock and are, as you know, the people we buy and sell OTC issues from, can short this at any time. It's the only they have of guaranteeing liquidity, which this is their responsibility as market-makers. Not only are market-makers allowed to short, they (and here I do NOT mean GMTC's MMs) frequently beat the hell out of stocks for the sheer purpose of inducing a price walkdown, otherwise known as a shakeout. As you'll see on the 56 thread, if this is in fact a two-month old stock, I would definitely object to its taking its pleasure from any regulars at the cathouse.

PS: I spoke too soon about CMAG. It did the 50% or so I was looking for it to do in three days. I just waited till the day after New Years Eve this time. Godda(*$#%&( it!
