There's no evidence of that.

In fact, the only ones who have cut medicare are Obama and the dems when they diverted $700 billion from medicare to the ACA.

If they ever get a strong majority in the Senate and House again with a Republican President, rest assured they will cut those programs.

That all depends on what your definition of a "strong" majority is, and how "strong" they'd have to be in order to cut the two sacred cows of federal entitlements.
