Jim: Re: MEGA CAPS AS INDICATORS Certainly won't argue with anything you said. Are you familiar with stories about and by Jesse Livermore? He wrote a small book years ago (30's as I recall) - called theKey System or something similar. Anyway the idea was to track a group average (which he made up), such as steels. When the group average was rising, but (the then leader) - U.S. (X) - started to go the other way...it was indicative that the group too would turn! So....he would short Bethlehem and others - so long as X continued to falter. Nothing really changes - only the names. Best, Don
