Under what circumstances would Fredovich resign? If h knows he would get crushed in the 2020 elections. Biggest election loss in history wouldn't be good for his ego. And that's #1. If he reaches a plea bargain to keep himself and his family out of legal jeapardy. But if this happens, it would come too late to help candidate Pence, or whoever. And he would WANT to insure the Republicans lose big after him.
