>>.has surgery been recommended for you

Yes, by both my family practice doc and the urologist who diagnosed it. But I am going to a urologic oncologist in January and will, presumably,Mohave yet another opinion.

>>id you wife get a complete hip replacement or a partial? She walked on it for 4 weeks is amazing

It was a complete replacement. It was two weeks before she got it fixed though, not four. She pretty much tried to stay off of it to allow it to heal but it didn't get much better. She was convinced it wasn't broken. Even when grocery shopping one day.

Finally went to out dr, he told her today he immediately knew it was broken when she saw he walking in it. But when he stayed it, had me take he pr,straight to hopspital for replacement the next morning.

Good news is her 5th rehab session was today and they say she'll get off the walker next week. Only once taken any pain medicine beyond Tylenol. But the neck of the femur was broken clean through. It was amazing to the surgeon she'd gotten around on it.

My cancer is about as good as prostate cancer gets, in that the Gleason is 6 (3+3) with 2 50% cores and one 5%.

Even though there is a lot of argument over the value of the PSA, I votemformgetting it checked regulaly.
