Thanks everybody for the warm well wishes. Mom and baby are doing just fine. No matter what Naxos does, 1998 will be a great year for the Rosenfeld family.

I do however expect that Naxos will add to the success. If Naxos has the goods, and can mine the gold at the cost being mentioned ($100-$200 per ton of dirt), there is no reason not to believe that the market cap of Naxos cannot approach "EIGHT TIMES the COMBINED market cap of Barrick Gold, Placer Dome, and Newmont Mining." One would have to believe that no other traditional mining company would be able to compete with Naxos financially. In addition, that does not take into account the revenues that may be generated by using the Johnson-Lett process on other properties with Naxos as a majority partner in all those endeavors. But first, we must prove the gold and show an economic process to mine the ore as well as the other ores.

My suspicions in the two week extension are these. (Probably already stated in prior posts). If the news coming from Ledeux were bad, you wouldn't need two more weeks, just make the announcement. If Naxos management had no idea of what or when the news were coming, negotiate more than two weeks, negotiate a two or three month extension. If Naxos management had a pretty good idea of what was coming (and we already have the non-certified COC 3+ ounces of Au.) and when it was coming, go ahead and get the additional two weeks to work with. My guess is we will hear very good things prior to January 21st. My only question is "Is this what is going to put Naxos on the front pages and drive the stock price up, or is it positive results from the pilot plant that is needed, or is it big juicy dividends when Naxos finally starts producing gold, platinum, etc. big time???" We all will soon see.
