Does the type of apple make a difference, ie Macintosh, Rome, Empire, Delicious, etc?

Preferably ones without half a worm in them are best . Don't know what they use. Braag is probably the #1 brand and more expensive. bragg.com

How about distilled vinegar?

Don't know but the cleaning lady uses it on our wood floors and we clean the coffee pot with that, so it might clean out the calculus and brine from the stomach and intestines. CLR or HCL acid would do the same but I don't know how good they taste.
