BG--Interesting article, thanks. As a sidenote, McDonalds just sold a ton of 10 year notes, and they usually time it right. ie-low interest rate.

Bill, nice post. No surprise the politicians treat gold like they treat everything else: achieve the desired result termporarily while ensuring all the more undesirable consequences in the future.

The question of course is when, not whether,l the shorts be forced to cover and how astronomical the price.
