I pointed out that the damaged caused by that recession (and every recession) last long after the recession ends. Full employment isn't achieved the day after the recession ends. It takes many years. Lost wages aren't recovered the day after a recession ends. It takes nearly a decade. Poverty rates don't recover the day after a recession ends it takes about a decade.

Your thought process is far too small for most people. You know that right?
