Ed I had to get off the computer.Wife yelling,so if had had 5 phones that averaged 200 month with airtouch or gte that = $1000 month.I get nextel which gives 250 min dispath which is equal to about 500 min airtouch since you don't pay unless you touch the button that will cost about 35 month = $175 month that is were you big savings would be.NOW I know its 35 for dispatch $25 for for cell and $5 paging for total of $65 per unit and you haven't made phone call $325 for 5 nextel and you get 1250 pooled minutes and you can call your whole footprint with your pooled minutes then if have nexnote which you can type notes with a computer for .5 message. That alot of cell phone use that make up the difference from $325 to $1000.GOOD LUCK RICK

Bear.
If I used my phones as much as you do then i would see the savings.
But, one phone I give to my Folks and they have never used it. And to pay $ 45 a month for it is just not worth it. The savings on NO roam would be helpful to me. It just the high monthly fee, ( which they are running a special on this month) and the other is the cost of the phone.. Bear I write all the cost off..But, I'm still not going to pay the high cost of the phone. I think last month or Nov. special was free minutes to off set the cost of the phones.. Now with the off set and the low monthly for a year..I'll sign on the dotted line. I still like the product. I will be using Nextel in the future..

Good talking, Ed
