Mike: I think "anyone" is too broad.
As far as if a suit could be brought, I honestly don't know.
It is an interesting thought.
I doubt that the average guy would have anything to worry about, but if a person was a broker, or wrote a newsletter...I don't know.
I think, (seriously), that at some time in the future this will be tested.
Is it fair?
I guess if someone lost a lot of money, they would think it's fair.
I'll bet a nickle, though, that someone, somewhere will do it. (if it hasn't already been done) al

Mike,

One question.... So why didn't DM go after Zapera, wouldn't that seem the normal line of business? It sounds to me like he was po'ed Olympus didn't fold and actually survived, I think he tried to cook the wrong goose. And the answer about Randall, well I think he cook his own goose on that one. If you go back to his posts, and he is affiliated with bashing this stock, with documents that are relevent to the proceedings, well like I said before, the sharks are gonna be circling everyone on this one...thanks for the post.

Rob

Michael,

If the shoe were on the other foot then maybe you could understand! Then again maybe NOT!

Is it FAIR to the shareholders of this company that a known licensed stock broker is allowed to BASH a company and it's shareholders on the internet? NOT AT ALL!!

Is it ETHICAL for a known licensed stock broker to BASH a stock and it's shareholders on the internet? NO!!

Is it IRRESPONSIBLE for a company to have knowledge of and allow a known licensed stock broker to BASH a stock and it's shareholders on the internet? YES!!

How do you prevent this? The NASD suggested notifying his employer. If that doesn't work what do you do? Legal action is an alternative. Are there other alternatives? Could be.

Pugs is doing what he feels is necessary to not only protect his investment but to also protect others. Maybe in doing so it will pave the way to prevent this from ever happening again to another group of investors like us.
