Back in 2016, she fleeced gullible liberals for millions of dollars in her sham recount effort to prove Russia hacked the election. After the recounts showed no Russian interference with voting machines, Stein slithered into the night with her new fundraising apparatus. It's a fiasco that has the potential to hurt democrats for years. Now, in a weird twist of fate, Jill Stein's campaign appears to be a target in the Senate investigation of Russian interference in the election. It doesn't get any better than this. According to buzzfeed , Dennis Trainor Jr, who served as the campaign’s communications director and acting manager during that time, told BuzzFeed News that he was informed of the committee’s request because during his time on the campaign, his personal cell phone was “a primary point of contact” for those looking to reach Stein or the campaign. That included producers from RT News, the Russian state-funded media company that booked Stein for several appearances, Trainor said. Trainor also said that Stein will likely release any requested documents to the public “in an effort to show complete transparency and kind of wage her own war against ... what I imagine she thinks is an overblown investigation into collusion.” Imagine for a moment if Donald Trump said he would "wage war" against the Russia investigation. I suspect the world would explode. Luckily for Stein, she is a special kind of pants-on-head-crazy, so nobody really cares when she says or does something stupid. I's worth noting that Mark Warner, the vice-chair of the committee responsible for the investigation, would not confirm that Stein is now a target. He did have this to say, however. "I will point out that Ms. Stein was at that somewhat infamous dinner with Gen. Flynn and Vladimir Putin, and also has been a long term defender of Mr. Assange and Wikileaks which clearly was involved in dumping some disparaging information." It remains to be seen what this investigation will turn up, but it has gotten quite interested. I suspect it has made liberals far more uncomfortable than they expected. At this point, it's just a waiting game to see what happens. Someone pass the popcorn.themaven.net
